The service requires the installation of the Plex app, which can be downloaded from the official app markets such as Play Store (Android) and App Store (for Apple devices). There is also an app for Smart TVs on their respective download services.
For laptops and desktop computers it is easier to just access Plex using a web browser and logging in with the account. The installation and use of the Plex app is pretty straightforward — it just works like any other streaming service such as Prime, HBO or Netflix.
