1. Nature of the project

AlFa House is a private, non-commercial and experimental home lab project. It is run by a single individual on personal hardware located in a private home. The website and any service exposed through it have no profit motive: no advertising, no payments, no donations and no commercial activity of any kind are accepted or carried out.

All services (media streaming, cloud storage, VPN and gaming servers) are offered free of charge, exclusively to friends and family of the operator, as part of a learning and hobby activity.

2. No warranty

Services are provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE", with no warranty of any kind, express or implied. There is no guarantee of:

uptime, availability or continuity of service;
fitness for any particular purpose;
integrity, durability or recoverability of stored data;
absence of bugs, vulnerabilities or interruptions.

3. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the operator of AlFa House shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages — including, without limitation, loss of data, loss of profits, business interruption or any other commercial damage — arising out of or in connection with the use of, or inability to use, the services.

Users are solely responsible for the data they upload, store, share or transmit using any of the services, and for the lawful and ethical use of those services.

4. Data, backups and storage

The cloud storage service is not a backup solution and must not be used to store the only copy of any data. Users are advised to maintain independent backups. The operator may, without prior notice, delete data in case of incident, abuse or after the retention periods described on each service page.

5. VPN and logs

Connection logs of the VPN service are kept for up to one (1) month for security and abuse prevention. Any criminal or abusive use of the network will be reported to the competent authorities, and logs will be provided upon valid legal request.

6. Intellectual property

The operator does not host nor distribute any copyrighted material without proper rights. Users are forbidden from uploading, sharing or streaming content they are not legally entitled to. Any reported infringement will lead to immediate removal of the content and revocation of access.

7. Privacy

AlFa House collects only the minimum data necessary to operate the services (authentication credentials, connection logs, contact form submissions). No personal data is sold, transferred to third parties or used for advertising. Users may request deletion of their account and associated data at any time using the contact form.

8. Security & SSL

This website and all exposed services are protected by an SSL/TLS certificate issued by a recognised Trusted Site certification authority. All connections are encrypted in transit. Despite all reasonable security measures, no system is fully invulnerable; users acknowledge this residual risk.

9. Modifications

The operator reserves the right to modify, suspend or discontinue any service or any part of this notice at any time, without prior notice.
